Gaspard would be released from WWE in 2012 and JTG lasted with the company until 2014. The two would feud against each other briefly. Cryme Tyme would eventually split up when Shad Gaspard turned on JTG after a match…turning Gaspard heel. They feuded with teams like The Legacy and the Hart Dynasty and added Eve Torres as their valet. The team competed briefly on the independent circuit before getting resigned by the WWE in 2008. John Cena got involved breaking up the incident and it led Cryme Tyme to be given their releases. In 2007, Cryme Tyme was fired by the WWE after a backstage altercation with the then WWE tag team champions Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch. The debuted as a babyface tag team who would steal other wrestlers property and sell it to “fan” at ringside.
